Tambora..I wish that I knew something about the quality of the copy of"Nosferatu , that is now available. Its visual quality may vary from poor to excellent as is the case with so many of the titles available on the internet. Consider" Metropolis" where copies range from good to rubbish. Does it have music and that is essential to silent films and if so is it good or rubbish. (I once rented "gold rush" but the music added to the inferior copy destroyed much of Chaplin,s classic.

I didn't actually view Nosferatu. I watched it a while ago on a VHS from the library. I can't attest to the quality of this copy. Perhaps some of its downloaders would care to comment.

i downloaded the large mpg nosferatu{860 megs}and it is quite good.it has background music and noises like it should and the written words are in english.to be honest, the quality is better than i expected.even on full screen.wich is the only way i will watch a film on the computer.i highly recommend it if you have broadband.i never seen this film and completely enjoyed it.it says the file is a mpg1 but it is as good as an mpg2.hope this helps you with your download decision.
